    Add options to add custom fields such as description and notes. Those fields will searchable.

  2. File hashing

    Save file hash to the metadata. In cases that the file is moved or paths change, the metadata won't be lost.

  3. Having searched for a tagged item across all subdirectories, opting to 'open containing folder' will open where the item resides in system

  4. Add action "hide files with this tag"

    In the tag menu, an option "hide files with this tag" could be added. this would be particularly useful for GTD tags (e.g., hide 'done') or ratings (e.g., hide 1-star).

  7. Allow Drag & Drop Opening of supported Preview File-types

    Allow dragging of pdf/jpg/other supported preview files onto the tagspaces shortcut in windows to directly open that file in the preview window. This would also allow apps like the scansnap manager to send scanned paperwork directly to TagSpaces for tagging.

  8. Search for tags in all folders not only the current folder

    I want to search file names or tags in all folders
    Now i have to select folder one by one and then search tags in it
    which is quite cumbersome

  9. Create a direct link between Tagspaces and email

    Email is one of the primary sources of incoming tasks to complete and files to store. From a workflow perspective, downloading a file and copying and pasting the email body into a new text file unnecessarily splits the incoming data into two pieces, each processed in a separate way. Though inconvenient, it's workable on a desktop where Tagspaces and the email client can both be open and seen on the same display. Much less workable on a mobile phone. CloudMagic has awesome email-Evernote integration, so one needn't leave the email inbox to get the message and the attachments into Evernote.…

  10. Expanded treeview functionality, please!

    2014 ushered in a 'new' wave of organizational tools; modeled after OrgMode. Workflowy / Moo.do / GTDNext are web apps where the primary backbone is dynamic outlining and tagging. In particular, I love the ease of organizing my ideas and projects in an outline / tree, with smart use of tagging for search/filter/time planning.

    These tools are beautiful and functional because of their simplicity and unlimited branching into subtrees. But they all suffer from the limitations of plain text. That is, I might still want to integrate photos, spreadsheets, etc. To work around that, these tools are beginning to explore…

  12. enable mounting of cloud storage folders instead of requiring full sync. Especially useful for mobile with limited storage capacity.

  13. A close cooperation with Recoll semantic desktop search and Zeitgeist (action search)

    tagspaces is quite supreme

    just discovered the best GUI for such app. - congrats for the easy to use GUI and overall functionality.

    beside other good ideas regarding attachments - shapes / icons and marks - it will be perfect if you can integrate recoll search engine with your tool. It will be the perfect match at least on Linux based systems. It will find not only tags but term occurences also ...

  14. 'Time Planner' window mode.

    Present items containing 'date/time' tags in an 'agenda' or 'calendar' view. Tagspaces as a weekly planner!

    The idea is to leverage date/time tags with an extension to the existing Smart Tag system (which is already good and should remain).

    When I create a note or download a file that I want to work on next Tuesday, for example, I could tag with the date and the time (and possibly a duration, such as '2 hours').

    Then I could click on 'agenda' and view a 5 or 7-day calendar-style planner, where I can scan all of the items that I've scheduled…

  16. Display pixel dimensions of pictures in list view

    I am trying to sort HQ pictures from low quality pictures and tag them as print quality vs. web quality. It would be nice to be able to display and sort by dimensions.

  17. Problem using tag to Autocad file about changing the filename

    Dear All,
    Thank you for inventing this software.
    I like this file manage system very much.

    but I have some problems as below:

    I am a Autocad file (.dwg) user. I have many link between the file, for example, in A.dwg file will have some xref files B.dwg, C.dwg inside A.dwg. but this tagspaces system is changing the filename for the tag, so every time after i make some tags on B.dwg and C.dwg, when i open A.dwg, I need to relocate the xref B.dwg and C.dwg.

  18. auto refresh

    It doesn't even refresh itself after I deleted a file through TagSpaces.
    I confirmed my delete but the file was still on the list.

    Moreover, I want it to check changes in the current directory and refresh automatically.

  20. Very important: filter by 1-click!

    Browse inside tags by 1-click (or ctrl+click) on tags. On every click, i add tag in filter. Very very better way! Now it's a little slow..(.."show docs with this tag"...)
