Create a direct link between Tagspaces and email
Email is one of the primary sources of incoming tasks to complete and files to store. From a workflow perspective, downloading a file and copying and pasting the email body into a new text file unnecessarily splits the incoming data into two pieces, each processed in a separate way. Though inconvenient, it's workable on a desktop where Tagspaces and the email client can both be open and seen on the same display. Much less workable on a mobile phone. CloudMagic has awesome email-Evernote integration, so one needn't leave the email inbox to get the message and the attachments into Evernote. I can even add Evernote tags in the same step. I don't see how this could be easily done without a third party app (an email client that integrates with Tagspaces), but it would be nice if it was possible.

As i do many ppl use Thunderbird, so it would be much better to find a way for both (and maybe other important apps too) to be in sync.
For thunderbird i found a small hack, havent Tested it yet, but it should work:
Install "Import Export tools" extension, with it you have unbelieveable options for exporting single, multi and all files at one, in all common file formats!!
You can directly export it to a import folder of Tagspaces, and done! -

Hi Tomas, In what file format are you exporting from Outlook and into Tagspaces?

For manual entries a simple Outlook add-on: "right click email > pick the tags > done" could be useful.

It is possible to use Outlook rules to automatically move copies of chosen emails into another folder
(or simply drag them there) and then code a component to have that (hot folder) to automatically add tags to those emails and have them transferred to desired repository. -

Genius way to do this would be to harvest tags from gmail. Should be do-able through API. I use Sparrow and this app has had access to gmail tag data even before google bought it out.
