Custom tag name format/style
Please add an option to change the tag name format which is added to the filenames.
Currently all tags are added within brackets at the end of the filename.
example: filename[tag1 tag2 tag3].ext
Cons:
- it's very hard to search for single tags with the default explorer search, if you use common tag names which can be found in an usual filename. For example if you work with abbreviations as tags just to reduce the filename length.Example (very simple because my main language is not english ;-):

make Tagspaces' UI much more responsive
I've tried Tagspaces before, 4 or 5 months ago or so, and now look at it again (version 2.1.1, with W 8.1 64bits). My main gripe with it is the incredibly slow user interface. Apart from the fact that the listing of folders in the FolderViz. (what the heck is a 'FolderViz.???) is completely unusable as it is a cloud of thousands of elements which cannot all be displayed on one screen. It takes minutes before the folder is even shown, with only three flashing dots as feedback. And I've only one folder connected to tagspaces!

Please introduce case-sensitive search, if possible.
I think search should have more options. Like case-sensitive search, OR and AND option. And I've read that full text search will be introduced.

The software is lacking possiblities to export as a readable document, I mean :
- Title
- Date
- Content
And this for every note created (or a list of notes).

Use standard library catalogs to tag, integrate tag search (Unity Lenses, FileMgr). Use file content to assign many tags.

Actually, there is nothing to do manually for books - all tags should be assigned automatically. All book (data) related info from Wikipedia, WikiMedia, the Time, Epoch, other writers, scientists, other cross-reference data may be available for review also.1 vote -
Tagnames as directory names.
If "TagSpaces" store the tagnames as a directory name, I can build nice directory trees.
It were nice to mix the current method with this directory-tagnames on the fly. So the user can decide, from left to right, on which directory level the "normal" tagnames starts.5 votes -

Back-button &/or undo to undo inadvertent drag-drop move. &/or add option of a warning before move of a big folder tree.
One of the main reasons folks "loose" items is an inadvertent drag-n-drop or move of items. It might help to have an "undo" or back-button that reverses previous move actions. Or better yet, an option that could be enabled that would ask for confirmation when moving a folder, and/or a folder-tree. (This idea came from a shell extension for windows explorer that intercepts folder moves, and asks for confirmation.) I'm willing to try to contribute this... are there any existing debug/verbose/logging abilities that track each action taken?

A cleaner navigation folder
Hi. I don't like the way subfolders are shown in the navigation panels. Now, subfolders are arranged on multiple lines and on every line could be one or more folders. I'd like a simple view with eevry subfolders one below the other. Thank you.

implement an icon based desktop with links
Include an option to create a workspace with linkable objects (I got the idea in a dream from merging two ideas (http://brendangriffen.com/blog/gow-influential-thinkers/) and your background wallpaper you have on your homepage (http://www.tagspaces.org/).
One can link the folders/objects together (most likely based on the tags). That way one can visually organize their thoughts using a workspace (i.e. a desktop) with links between objects.

Make columns configurable
Hi, I don't like, that Tagspaces does not stick to conventions. I want it to behave as a file manager, because this is what it should be. TagSpaces can never replace editors or viewers. I like the idea, but unfortunately it is bloating ATM. It would be nice, if I could configure some simple things, like the columns, e.g. to display the owner of a file. Further more, I'd like to have all information in a row. Tagspaces wastes a lot of white space. Move the file action button up.

add default location for web clipper
When using the firefox-Addon Web clipper I always have to navigate to my Notes-Folder when saving. It would be great to have an option to automatically store in that folder or at least to remember the last folder, I saved to

integrate iOS TagSpaces with OwnCloud/webdav
The potential for TagSpaces to help me organize my files is huge, however I need a way to truly sync across my iOS devices. Is an OwnCloud/webdav integration for iOS in the works? Until I can sync file changes across my devices (Mac, iPhone, iPad), TagSpaces will have limited usefulness for me.

Include the URL when clipping or saving a page.
When you clip a page, it would be great if the source URL were included. This is a surprisingly difficult thing to accomplish conveniently.

Visual editor for markdown
It would be great to have two editing options for Markdown. One is the RAW option (like you have right now) but then a Visual option (like the HTML editor you have right now) so that you can see what you are typing in Markdown in realtime. I'm not talking about typing in RAW mode and having a sub-panel render it to rich text, I'm talking about Rich-text-like editing in Markdown. Would that be possible?
