  1. Read the ENML format (Evernote XML format)

    So the migration from Evernote would keep the tags and all the attributes.

  2. Opening a note in a new window

    I don't know how feasible this is with node.js but I would love to be able to open a note in a new window. I used to do this with Evernote and I enjoyed having this ability. I could open several notes in several windows and work this way.

    On the hosted version, the note could open in a pop-up.
    On the Android version, I don't know...

  3. Click in tag group area, and start typing to create new tag.

    In any event, pressing Enter confirms tag deletion instead of having to leave the keyboard to click the check mark. (REALLY annoying having the page reload and the new tag text disappear instead.)

  4. allow for video organization. Right now if can't find any files

    Trying to organize a video file collection for editing. Can't do it with the current version since it doesn't seem to be able to view video formats.

  6. I just started using this software. It is awesome. The following are my suggestions for ease of use

    1. It would be nice to see tags for multiple folders at the same time. Currently i am using the dropbox as my storage for my TrueCrypt cotainers. So, I mount each of the containers as required. Currently i have to swich I had to swith between the folders to see the get a glance of the docuements. If we can do this it would be this would be a great software that works in collabaration of TrueCrypt/Dropbox.

    2. Please add shortcurts for windows application to add tags. Currently, it is tedious to add lots of tags with lots of clicks

  7. Explorer context menu integration

    Like a Send-to Tagspaces menu in right click menu. With options to move or copy files, and maybe other important menu points i dont think of ATM.

  9. Drag a file to application or foder

    As we can drag file from a folder and drop in top a app making the file to open or to a folder making a copy, etc, I like to see the same functionality here.

  10. Add a function to limit the amount of files shown in the explorer

    I have over 15000 files and they are all in the same directory. It almost grinds TagSpaces to a halt.

    It eventually responds after a few minutes and I can start filtering the list using the tags I've added. It works fine then.

    The issue really is first opening the program and also whenever I have to go back to the list of all the files. Unfortunately it means TagSpaces is too slow for me to use at the moment.

    It would be great if there were some options so that the user can limit the amount of files shown.…

  11. Enable search by Tag Group

    For instance, if I have the tag group Year, which contains the tags [2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005] it would be pretty cool to type +Year to show all files which have a tag residing in that group.

    Maybe you'd need another operator to avoid conflicts, might I suggest <> for include tag group and >< for exclude tag group.

  12. A cleaner navigation folder

    Hi. I don't like the way subfolders are shown in the navigation panels. Now, subfolders are arranged on multiple lines and on every line could be one or more folders. I'd like a simple view with eevry subfolders one below the other. Thank you.

  13. desktop gui option (compact, context menu, less "cardy")

    The interface is a little clunky on the desktop. I think it may be a good idea add a more desktop-friendly UI, which desktop users can enable.
    - compact rows in the grid perspective. The rows are just too tall and most of it is just whitespace.
    - Right-click?
    - The cards ui-style may be good for tablets, but it becomes garish when applied to everything. Maybe change the theme to someting more subtle and generic for dektop users. Perhaps customs themes will be supported in the future.

    great program with lots of potential.

  15. Rename file based on creation date

    Having a smart tag to rename a files based on the creation date would be nice.
    I name files "yyyymmdd - filename".
    My Scanner names files "Epson - 1234.pdf". The smart tag should rename this file to "yyyymmdd - Epson - 1234.pdf".

  16. File name tags position option

    Have an option to choose the default position of the tags in the file name, incluind the adition (or not) of a space between the file name and the tag list
    filename [tag1 tag2].txt / filename[tag1 tag2].txt
    or
    [tag1 tag2] filename.txt / [tag1 tag2]filename.txt

    If I manually change the file name to the second option when I add new tags they are added in the correct place, but I always have to rename the file name manually, so an option would be great.

  17. Rules to ignore files (e.g. with regex)

    It would be nice if some files could be ignored like the .filename in linux.

    Especially I want this to ignore temp files on linux like .md~ etc.

  18. Display the contents of MAFF files

    MAFF files are zipped web pages like MHT files with better compression

    They also support metadata.
    The format is documented @ http://maf.mozdev.org/index.html

  20. Choose default opening mode

    It would be nice if I could choose the default way of opening files in Android. In my case, for example, "open file natively" is the best opening action for txt files.
