    I would love to have this feature as well. Almost all file managers have a tree view and Evernote as well. I find it really difficult to navigate lots of folders in TagSpaces because of the lack of tree view.

    I am sure touch alternatives could be found by taking inspiration from mobile file managers or even the Evernote android app. Or even the new web edition of Evernote :
    - Folders are all in a list
    - They can be expanded in an accordion fashion but the other folders stay on bottom

    Sorry it is quite difficult to explain but please have a look at the new Evernote Web interface to see what I mean.
