    How about adding a link date tag while ignoring the other possible tags.
    eg:
    existing files
    myfile[tag1 tag3].md
    myfile[tag1 tag2].md -> this to link
    on link creation
    myfile[tag1 tag2 linked20150101].md
    identification using name, link tag and extension
    myfilename + linked20150101 + md

    1. this can be used even if files have the same name
    2. and tags still can be added
    3. it is the users responsibility to not delete the linked tag
