  1. Find files not having any tag of a certain taggroup

    I'd like to ensure every file in a certain directory has been tagged with at least one tag or exactly one tag of a certain taggroup.

    Example:

    TagGroup "DocumentType"
    with Tags like "Invoice", "Purchase Order", ...

    Every file in my "Business Documents" directory should be tagged with exactly on of those.

    Additionally there could be a filter for files with missing tags, which in this case means: files in "Business Directory" directory not having a DocumentType-tag

  4. Preserve the window position and size

    I run this on large multi-monitors and it's very annoying to have to move and resize the app window every time I start it

  5. Option to include pictures in the html doc.

    maybe as ex base64, insted of linking to the web. Content on the web come and go.

    I've had to write my own py script to read, download and replace images in notes.

  6. Remember tags now and rename later (for locked files)

    When a file is already opened by other application it cannot be renamed so tagging failed.

    Can you do somthing to make tagging possible even if you can't rename the file at the same moment?

    It will be very usefull for video file tagging. you tag while you watch.

  8. File name tags position option

    Have an option to choose the default position of the tags in the file name, incluind the adition (or not) of a space between the file name and the tag list
    filename [tag1 tag2].txt / filename[tag1 tag2].txt
    or
    [tag1 tag2] filename.txt / [tag1 tag2]filename.txt

    If I manually change the file name to the second option when I add new tags they are added in the correct place, but I always have to rename the file name manually, so an option would be great.

  9. Rename file based on creation date

    Having a smart tag to rename a files based on the creation date would be nice.
    I name files "yyyymmdd - filename".
    My Scanner names files "Epson - 1234.pdf". The smart tag should rename this file to "yyyymmdd - Epson - 1234.pdf".

  10. My feedback

    Hello, I would just like to give my feedback in hope that some features may be added.

    1. When opening TagSpace, the location navigator and list perspective are default, so I need to always change it to tag library and grid perspective. It's not a real problem but it remembering your configuration would be nice. Also, the "collected tags" tag group recreates itself on each startup.

    2. Grid view appears to be sorting images by name, which is problematic because TagSpace modified the filename, so whenever you reopen it, the images are moved around.

    I've had a serious problem with this, however…

  11. Choose where to view content area

    Now the content pane (where the content of txt,html files) is always shown on the right side. I wish it was possible to decide wether to show the content pane on the bottom or on the right side.

  12. Tabbed content pane

    It would be fantastic if the content pane (were the content of a txt,html file) were tabbed. Meaning we could have multiple files open at the same time and close them at our own convenience.

    Option to set videos to loop in the environment rather than proceed to the next file in the perspective by default.

  14. Allow to change the font size

    I could never find where I could change the font size. The default font size is pretty small on my computer. This is a strain on eyes

  15. Shift click tagging

    If you shift click a tag in the tag tab it will auto add that tag to all selected files.

  16. highlight the search terms in the documents of the results

    In Evernote, when you do a search, the program highlights the search terms inside the documents of the search results, so you can easily find the searched for term in the document without having to read the whole thing.

  17. Couple Of Ideas.

    1. Provide Tree Structure like windows, cherry tree, zim wiki for easy navigation and store data under different directories similarly like storing folders and files.
    2. Need full text search engine like docFetcher which uses Apache Lucene and its powerful so that we can post huge articles and do a search
    3. Please kindly have a look at FolioViews which has published content with fast search.

  18. Make tag suggestion whenever possible (ala taglocity)

    Files have characteristics (eg: extension) and many files have ascii content that can be parsed somehow.

    Having tag suggestion based on file characteristics/content would be a real plus for people having to massively tag files.

    Taglocity did it really well in its Firefox extension.

    They used machine learning to improve their suggestion engine.

    Even if you restrict this to pdf/txt/doc/docx, it would be fantastic.

  19. Allow tag searches like "+Tag*"

    Allow for searches where the user does not remember the full tag name or want to search for several tags.

    Example tag list:
    20161101
    20161102
    20161103
    Client-Project-A
    Client-Project-B
    Client-Project-C

    Example searches:
    +2016*
    +Client*
    +20111*

  20. Improve space in the files list

    The File Extension button creates a big space between files in the List perspective.
    Maybe moving the button to the left or right of the checkbox would do the trick.
    Another nice feature would be the ability to resize the columns and change the font used in tagspaces.
