WebDAV Locations
Add a WebDAV location functionality so that the Web version is even more accessible.
My WebDAV server is on the same host but a different file location (/volume1/shares vs. /volume1/web) and port number to the webserver so need the ability to add it like this https://hostname:5006/share.
I understand this may be a limitation of the browser but would be a great thing if you can get it working.
PS this is hosted on a Synology NAS so have limitations on what I can change.

Rules to ignore files (e.g. with regex)
It would be nice if some files could be ignored like the .filename in linux.
Especially I want this to ignore temp files on linux like .md~ etc.

add a keyboard shortcut for creating "New HTML File"
The shorcut for the function "New Text File" is Ctrl+Alt+N (on Windows)
This is VERY useful for quickly creating text notes, but there are no shortcuts for HTML, Markdown or Audio.I'd be happy with just the shortcut for HTML File, because that's what I use. But it would be nice to have shortcuts for all the formats. Or the abbility to choose which format is used when the shortcut is pressed.

Chrome TagSpaces Web Clipper with option to embed URL and date on clipped files
I was hoping this would work similar to Evernote's Clearly, which when clipping from the web appended the data with a date and URL to the original source.
Apparently this works in Firefox, but I can't find the option in Chrome, would it be possible to implement this?
Right now I am saving a page to PDF (using Chrome's print to PDF option) and editing the description in TagSpaces to include the URL, which isn't very efficient for web clipping.

MHTML Thumbnail Generation
I like the idea of thumbnails for all files containing text/images.
Taking copies for webpages in MHTML format seems like useful file format (it's available in the TagSpace chrome extension if I save a whole page). Yet no thumbnails are generated for this file format, making it useless for me (I'm currently saving clipped pages as PDFs instead/which unfortunately aren't as easily editable but have useful thumbnails).
Thumbnails show for HTML files, so can it show for MHTML to make the file format more useful in TagSpaces?

Zoom thumbnails - via CTRL + 'mouse scroll wheel'
I was hoping this would be implemented the same as many other pieces of software (Lightroom, Windows Explorer etc). That is, the ability to zoom with a keyboard combination and the mouse scroll wheel' Usually CTRL + 'wheel forward to zoom in/backward to zoom out'.
Right now I have thumbnails, that aren't terribly useful as I can't zoom in to read the contents for tagging.
Using a 'ctrl + mouse wheel' for this option would be usful for navigation, as it'd enable the user to drill down, by scrolling to a point, and then zoom back out very quickly.

Tag colour and name changes reflected immediately on all files
I was hoping this 'apply to all' setting would be implemented out of the box. That is, when tag changes are made, I'd like them reflected on all affected files automatically, or at least be provided with the option to 'apply to all'
i.e. I change the colour of a tag, from green to purple, and then all individual files with the same tag are changed reflect that change.
Right now, if I change a tag colour, there is no intuitive way to change all files to reflect this. Which doesn't really allow for my tagging taxonomy and colours to…

ALL tags view, categorised, drag to attach
This is actually still relying on human memeory. If I have more than about 30 -50 tags I can't remember them all. So I'll miss some attaching to files and the system is weakened.
Make a pane open on one click showing ALL tags created. Best to enable categories (headers or folders). Select MULTIPLE Tags as desired - Drag to file (or select and click file.
I'm afraid without this Tags are of limited use if I have to keep to only 30 or else accept that many files do not have their relevant Tags.

Add AppImage binary
A simple, portable, click to install package would be nice for Linux. AFAIK it's not that difficult to do either for Electron apps.

Dark Mode
Tagspaces have a really light and bright UI. I often like more dark or gray UI's so I would really like to see a dark mode.

Instant Quick-Search
I have tested a few Note applications which has implemented an instant search function (like Notes for Android). It fould be very helpfull and would increase productivity when search is already invoked while typing in the search field (at least for Tags). And as an option (I know it would be slower) to active full text instant search on .txt and .md files.
BTW I don't like the idea fo having tmp-files for full text search because it would double storage needs and instead can be implemented directly on the original files. Thanks a lot!

Search for untagged files
I have nearly 3000 files in my folder structure. Most are tagged but some aren't and they need to be. It would be great to be able to search for untagged files so I can tag them.

Make Browser Extension download as files
So far the browser extension only downloads web pages or screenshots. It would be great if you could download a variety of file types. Maybe make the extension give a "Download with TagSpaces" option whenever a user right-clicks something that normally gives a "save [type] as..." option, like how ad-blockers add a "block object" option to the right-click menu.

Find files not having any tag of a certain taggroup
I'd like to ensure every file in a certain directory has been tagged with at least one tag or exactly one tag of a certain taggroup.
Example:
TagGroup "DocumentType"
with Tags like "Invoice", "Purchase Order", ...Every file in my "Business Documents" directory should be tagged with exactly on of those.
Additionally there could be a filter for files with missing tags, which in this case means: files in "Business Directory" directory not having a DocumentType-tag
