  3. Make an easy interface for linking documents to one another. Make it possible to add links to sections in a document.

    I'm attempting to use TagSpace as a documentation management tool. I would like to be able to:
    Make links to other documents (which should be possible noting that the links are anchor elements, but having an interest in keeping these paths relative, I'm not sure that Tagspaces contains the logic to understand that the top most folder/linked data location is the root of all the documentation. It would be nice to create some text, highlight it, select link, pull up a dialog to ask for a resource locater and let that be a FILE,HTTP, etc reference. If it is a…

  4. auto refresh

    It doesn't even refresh itself after I deleted a file through TagSpaces.
    I confirmed my delete but the file was still on the list.

    Moreover, I want it to check changes in the current directory and refresh automatically.

  6. Read the ENML format (Evernote XML format)

    So the migration from Evernote would keep the tags and all the attributes.

  7. Opening a note in a new window

    I don't know how feasible this is with node.js but I would love to be able to open a note in a new window. I used to do this with Evernote and I enjoyed having this ability. I could open several notes in several windows and work this way.

    On the hosted version, the note could open in a pop-up.
    On the Android version, I don't know...

  8. Add "Recent Tags" Group

    Dynamic group that shows the last 10 used tags. Would be awesome.

  10. Click in tag group area, and start typing to create new tag.

    In any event, pressing Enter confirms tag deletion instead of having to leave the keyboard to click the check mark. (REALLY annoying having the page reload and the new tag text disappear instead.)

  12. Allow for tab aliases

    Sometimes I might not be consistent with my tagging - for example, I may use "Paris" and "ParisFrance" as tags for different files. It would be nice to translate "ParisFrance" to "Paris" (or vice versa, per user specification).

  13. Choose default opening mode

    It would be nice if I could choose the default way of opening files in Android. In my case, for example, "open file natively" is the best opening action for txt files.

  15. Add SRS Learning View

    I love Anki but I dislike the lockin to its Webservice to sync. My suggestion is to add a view which uses Tags on special datafiles to allow Spaced Repetition / Leitner Karteikarten system functionality. To be a match with Anki the LaTeX feature would be tequired.

  17. Send deleted files to recycle/trash bin rather than permanently deleting.

    It appears that when you delete a file it is immediately permanently deleted. This could cause a problem with a user accidentally deleting files, especially when deleting multiple files. On desktop clients, it should be easy to just send the deleted files to the recycle/trash bin. This would give the user a chance to recover accidentally deleted files from the trash bin.

  18. Add tag to directory only

    I want to be able to tag directories like files. Tags are on directory NOT recursively tag files inside the directory.

    Directory named "adirectory", when tagged with "ReadMe", it becomes "adirectory[ReadMe]". but files inside does not change.

    This is very useful because more and more consumable media are no longer single file only. For example an audio book comes with a directory with many mp3 files. If I have 15 audio book novels and each have 50 mp3s. I want to tag "ReadNow", "Done", "Later" then I have to tag every files. When search every files…

  19. Quick Bookmark Creation

    Would be great to use this as a Bookmark manager.

    i.e. New bookmark/file button and it just gives you title and address options. Then when you double click to open it, it opens in your browser.

    I know you can create an html file with a link in it but its quite a few clicks extra.

  20. Sugestion : make it possible in the webdav version to copy the location of a dir so when moving files you can paste the destination.

    when i try to move files the chooser is not yet implemeted
    so by copying a location and pasting it in the targed dit window it would help to organize.
