More clarity about how it works on website before download.
Hello. I just installed the Mac versions and I'm excited to dig into the Tagspaces ecosystem. I have been relying on Evernote for a couple years now and although it's a beautiful piece of work I do have 2 issues with it. A) I'm concerned about security/privacy of data and B) I don't know how to extend it to a larger body of data (old photo libraries etc). I applaud your work so far on an alternative that addresses the security concerns. It looks fantastic. But, it took me awhile to figure out how it works. In fact, it was the comments in this blog post that revealed it to me: http://www.tagspaces.org/tagspaces-evernote-alternative/ I would suggest that you explain at the outset that this works by renaming files. This concept is elegantly simple but also has wide ranging ramifications and user should be aware of it before they start using it. Honestly, I wish it worked by writing an index file to the root directory of each added location. But I'm still getting up to speed on the design history of how you ended up with this arrangement. I'm sure there are reasons...
Thanks!
