Remove the save dialog
It's useless to have the dialog, if the user doesn't click the button the file is not saved (for example if the user opens another files a dialog appears asking if she wants to save the current file), if the button is clicked it's time-wasting to ask another confirmation. It's like the save button in any common text editor.

I am not sure. Noting that I've seen SummerNote within tagspaces exhibit issues with saving data, if this assures me it is being saved, I'm all for it. It automatically doing so isn't a problem either, but I suppose that gives some additional challenges for the development.

It's very annoying to confirm each Save. At least the dialog should be optionnaly deactivaed, like "Never ask confirmation" checkbox.

I feel like this suggestion is pretty much half of the following suggestion: https://tagspaces.uservoice.com/forums/213931-general/suggestions/5915692-text-notes-should-be-editable-by-default

I agree, an autosave mechanism would be great for the easy to edit files such as txt, html and markdown. You shouldn't even have to press a save button, things are saved automatically as you type and when you quit.

Edit / Save mechanism should be redesigned soon. I am also not happy how it currently works. Some users are suggestion auto save functionality, what do you think about this?
